Who are BX?
Our Founder
BX is the brainchild of Ben Bardsley, a former fruit farmer and decorated Afghanistan veteran.
Over his 8 years as CEO of Bardsley England, Ben realized that the more he scaled his business, the more of a detrimental impact it was having on the environment.
He then channelled his passion and expertise to founding BX, with a mission to create innovative tech solutions that help farmers become part of the climate change solution.
A word from Ben
I founded BX to enable food producers globally to be part of the climate crisis solution. Having been a farmer myself, I know the pain, struggle and effort it takes to put food on plates. This deep understanding of the food system’s complex problems provides the foundations BX needs to deliver on our mission of restoring the planet for future generations.

In June 2023, we achieved B Corp status – something we’re incredibly proud of.
As a B Corp, we’re part of a network of organizations leading economic systems change to support our collective vision of an inclusive, equitable, and regenerative economy. We don’t just want to help others to improve their sustainable practices, we set the same high bar for ourselves.
